Wie verhält sich das ganze eigentlich mit Headers ohne Kat?
Läuft ein Motor ohne Katalysator nicht kühler,ein Audituner hat mir am Telefon gesagt daß ich beim RS6 die Vorkats rausnehmen soll,daß er dannach auf der Autobahn nicht mehr so heiß wird?
Kann ich das auch auf den mit Procharger aufgeladenen Ls7 projezieren?

The 2" Headers are only recommended for installation with the highest modified Corvettes. For applications closer to stock, the 2" Primaries will cause problems, and for this reason the 2" system is only recommended for high-performance track-focused Corvette applications, and extremely high-boost vehicles. Also, because of the degree of boost required to properly run a 2" system we will only sell those with non-catted X-Pipes. The pressure and boost that a Corvette that requires 2" piping will exert will greatly decrease the life and functionality of high flow cats.
Die 2 Zoll Headers soll man wohl nur fahren wenn ein sehr hoher ladedruck gefahren wird und dann am besten ohne Katalysator.
Was aber ist ein sehr hoher Ladedruck,das ist für mich kein Wert ,in der Formel 1 gab es in den 80ern Motoren mit 5,5 bar.
Die meisten serienmäßig aufgeladenen Motoren scheinen ab Werk so eher 0,6-0,8 bar zu haben.
Was bedeutet extremly high boost
, ich habe VR6 Motoren gesehen mit 3,8 bar ,ich finde das gestört ich frage mich ob das hält,egal was an Kolben Pleul etc. verbaut ist.
Bei den Amerikanern bedeutet extremly high boost aber eher 2 bar ? oder liege ich da auch wieder falsch.
