If you want to drive as sharp as the C5R, you need coil-overs. And get rid of the springleafs. The springleafs always give you the feeling that you are driving with two cars 
The former C4 I had was really a disaster, it is a wonder that a still can smoke that sigar (wich a had as a present from Fidel castro who loved my vette)
But, serious...if you wanna drive safe and fast, awsome fast cornering, you need the adjustible coilovers, wich I had special handmade for this vette. I have those coilovers for sale, this in according with the manufactorer, who is going to made some new for my C5.
In my opinion: the best what you can do to improve the dive capability of your vette!
