As you can see from the pics above there are several different types and sizes of plates depending on the Nr./letter combination. This in fact is a big issue here as it is a kind of competition with our stubborn authorities to get the shortest possible combination and thus the shortest possible plate. And no, in most cases they do not fit the existing holes.

If your comrade comes over with the US Military he will most probably get a special Number and license plate reserved for US Armed Forces. Then he don't have a fitment prob 'cause these plates match US plate sizes.

Du darfst. Dieser Einsatz ist aber tatsächlich vom Ralf (Phoenix). Das ging bei mir eigentlich recht schnell.
Ich kann Dir nur raten ihm nochmals eine PN zu schreiben. Ich sehe ihn aber auch öfter und kann ihn dann ansprechen. Du mußt aber angeben welche Maße Dein Kennzeichen hat. Er laminiert zwei Ausführungen. Mein Kennzeichen ist 240 x 133mm

Hi AJ, there always is a great discussion in the forum who has the shortest (normally men talk about who has the longest....)But over here there are so called "Strassenverkehrsamt" and every one of them has diffrent rules. I was lucky to get this one!
