Hey Leute, schaut euch doch mal diesen Link an. Sehr interessante Infos! Aber das was zuvor da gestanden hat, ist mindestens genau so interessant:

The Z06 Will have a rear spoiler. Period

Aluminum frame for sure.

427 cid for sure. 11.0:1 CR

512 HP goal, underrated to 500 HP.

The 3100 lb figure, is wrong according to my source, who states that it will be 2900 lbs.

7,000 RPM redline with a special very high lift cam and lightweight titanium valves (Intake) and sodium/potassium filled exhaust valves.

Titanium rods, but cast pistons due to cold weather starting issues. The forged pistons with additional clearance will cause too many cold start knocking issues.

The Chassis was developed by Pratt and Miller, the engine by Katech. These two companies basically build the C5R and C6R .

The track performance will smoke a Z51 C6 bigtime.

0-60 at 3.8 seconds.

Where does the HP stop? According to my source, 700 HP will be the next stop, for the Blue Devil.

The 3 valve heads are still in the works, but will not be on the Z06, but are coming.

They WILL BE BACKWARD COMPATIBLE with all Gen III and Gen IV engines, when they arrive.

The LS1s will be able to bolt on the 3 valve heads.

The picture of the Z06 that appeared here, may be close, but the front intake seemed to be too small from his memory of the car, which my source has seen.

You can believe this info, or not, but I have never been steered wrong by my source for over 6 years.

The pics of the camo Z06s were dropped by GM, so expect more to come.

I am working on getting more stuff for my website soon.

Two Z06s will be at Sebring this year, and of course Detroit in January.

SOME NEW INFO ON PAST PICS POSTED ON THIS SITE -
Remember the 1st real Z06 pic - bluish silver that is "Embargoed Z" pic? Well first off, it was as we know a stolen pic from the press kit and altered so that person would not get into trouble.....they even changed the color and the "sides" , from my GM source said...do not look right!

The car we all saw is 70% right.......

Wir dürfen also weiterhin gespannt bleiben auf die richtige Z06. Spätestens am 10. Januar 2005 wissen wir endgültig Bescheid!!!

Liebe C5 Eigner, plündert mal Euer Sparbuch für die neuen Köpfe. Dürfte auf der LS1 zwischen 60 und 80 PS bringen.

Irgendwann vor grauer Zeit habe ich hier mal ein Bild von dem Dreiventiler gepostet. Wo war das nur?

Das wird sicherlich eine der Kostspieligeren Aktionen sein, wenn ich mir den Aufwand anschaue. Lohnt sich das denn??? Sicherlich lohnt es sich für jemanden der die Leistung möchte, aber da muß ja wohl so ziehmlich alles Verändert werden, oder ??

427 wird es wohl nicht.... angeblich stehen in dem entspechenden GM Motorenwerk (Name geheim) 425er Motoren auf Halde für die neue Z06 und das ist ein bisschen weniger als 7Liter aber wird wohl auch das Teil von A nach B ziehen...

Ich werde jedenfalls auch mit nem 425er fahren ohne Störungen an meinem Selbstbewusstsein zu erleiden
