und hier noch etwas aus dem US-Forum, zur weiteren Verwirrung
The main difference between the 69-73 and 74-76 "Stingray" scripts, is the posts. The early ones have 4 long posts, to take speed nuts, while the later ones have 3 short posts, that are just there to properly locate the emblem on the fender. Since the late 70's, only the 74-76 3 post emblem, has been available from Chevrolet as a service replacement. As such, these emblems have ended up on a lot of 69-73 Corvettes, over the years.
All of the 69-76 Stingray scripts, were painted the same. The raised portion of the side of the emblem, that's closest to the body, was painted black, while the rest of the emblem was chrome plated. The later GM service replacement scripts, have the whole side of the emblem painted black, with only the face of the emblem left chrome.
The service replacement emblem is still available form Chevrolet, but even though the paint on it is wrong, it costs almost 3 times what the correct repro costs.

na gut, wenn ich nicht so schnell fahren darf, wie ich gerne möchte, entgeht dem Finanzminister eben einiges an Mineralölsteuer .... selber schuld
