Hallo Hans-Georg
The early (65-66) teak wheel, won't just bolt onto a later steering wheel hub.
The teak wheels use a flat, one piece center spoke section, while 67 and up wheels have a two piece center spoke, that overlaps in the center. 67 up hubs are notched to accommodate the extra thickness created by the overlap. The earlier hubs are flat. The screw pattern is the same for all of the wheels, but early wheels need some sort of filler for the notch in the hub, to use them on 67 and later hubs. Early hubs cannot be used on later columns.
und weiter, auf den Kommentar "I understand that. But it will bolt to the hub but will have a hole where the notch is. You could make a spacer and use longer screws":
You don't even need a longer screw, because the 67-82 wheels already use a longer screw to account for the thicker wheel center section, but without a spacer, I think the wheel tends to wobble.

Gruss
