Hy 454Big,
...for the moment I have a wetsump.... but with vacuum pump for keeping lower the pressure in the krankase.
Now the engine is totally disassembled for a check (.... let me say for fun! )



Nothing was wrong.... but in the prevision of our big Corvette Day at the racetrack of Adria.... I need any small bit of power avalaible from my 427!

Corvette Day 2005
Am Wochenende vom 23 auf den 24 April 2005 findet auf der Rennstrecke von Adria (RO) die 4te Ausgabe der Corvette Day 2005 statt. Es ist dies der absolute Höhepunkt des Kalenders der Scuderia CORVETTE ITALIA

Diese Organisation hat sich inzwischen als das grösste Treffen zu Ehren der Corvette in Italien eingebürgert, dieses Jahr kommen verschiedene Neuerungen hinzu, welche so noch nie auf nationaler Ebene gezeigt wurden.

Die klassische Ausstellung um das schönste Auto zu küren sieht sich bereichert das das " HOT RODEO ", verschiedene Beschleunigungsrennen, burn-out und Schleuderkurse auf Piste, dies am Tag und in der Nacht. Auch werden Stände von verschiedenen Importateuren, Verkauf von Zubehör und Bekleidung zu finden sein, das Ganze ausgerichtet auf " Made in USA ". Live Country Musik und eine Off Road Strecke werden das Programm vervollständigen

Die ganze Struktur der Rennstrecke steht uns zur Verfügung
Die Rennstrecke selbst steht zur alleinigen Verfügung der Scuderia Corvette Italia Ein Platz von 25000 m2 steht ebenfalss zur Verfügung für Burn-Out, Ghymkana und Schleuderkurse Eine überdeckte Boxengasse (8000 m2) ist reserviert für uns Rennfahrlehrgänge Schleuderfahrlehrgänge OFF ROAD Piste für Jeepsters (dieselbe Strecke wie auf der Motorshow) Hotelzimmer innerhalb der Rennstrecke und oberhalb der Boxen. Restauration innerhalb der Boxengasse (250 Sitzplätze)

- Morgens, Ankunft und Einschreiben der Teilnehmer
- Mittagsessen (frei)
-Burn-Out Arena zur Verfügung bis 21 Uhr
-Am Nachmittag von 18 – 21 Uhr, Beschleunigungsrennen auf der Rennstrecke (Reserviert)
-Abendessen

SONNTAG

-Am Morgen von 10-12 Uhr, Schleuderkurs auf dem Platz
-Morgens bis 10 Uhr, freier Zugang zum Platz
-Mittagsessen
-Rennstrecke zur Verfügung der Eingeschriebenen Fahrer von 13 bis 14 Uhr (freies Training)
-Nachmittags von 14-15 Uhr, Preisverteilung des Beschleunigungsrennens vom Samstag
-Nachmittags von 15 bis 17 Uhr, Trial der Big Foot
-Nachmittags von 15 bis 17 Uhr, Slalom auf der Burn Out Arena
-Nachmittags von 17-18 Uhr, Breefing der Piloten am Eingang der Piste
-Nachmittags von 18-21 Uhr, alle auf die Piste, begleitet oder unbegleitet von einem Instruktor (professionneller Rennfahrer)
-Freies Abendessen für diejenigen, welche am Montag abreisen

as we talked on the phone, Elke and myself are comming. So, we´re able to drive to Adria together.

If you have some more details, let us know. Is there a entrance-fee or some kind of money we have to pay for? Can´t be all for free, or?

Still have to ZAINO the C5 first!

Hello Friedel,
The access to the indoor paddock is for free and you don't have to pay for coming to the Corvette Day.
The only think we have to pay is the access to the racetrack and to the burnout square..... but only 60 Euros per car for the whole week-end!
If you like, we organied a restaurant between the corvettes (really...) and the price for the sunday lounch is 25 Euros.
Otherwise, if you like to have a sandwich or so.... there is an other restaurant-bar for visitors and other people.

The translation is wonderful. Everything can be read.
We´re attending to the lunch, too. Walking and talking will make us hungry, right?

If Elke will let me go to the Racetrack with the Z06, we´ll go and see, how it runs!

Get me a hotelroom near your folks, so we don´t get lost during the weekend.
