MS Sea Emma leave Boston on August 7th - Jack Panzica - 24.07.2012
I have just confirmed the sailing date. August 7 or 8th. The car will go to Boston on July 30th, a few days for customs and packing it in a container. The MS Sea Emma will arrive in Bremerhaven, Germany on the 27th. I should clear customs and be on the road by August 29.
From Germany I will head to Denmark, first, then on to Oslo, Norway, Helsinki , Finland, Stockholm, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, France, Netherlands, Belgium and back to Germany for departure sometime at the end of October.
The trip should cover about 7 to 8 thousand miles. I will be in the US until August 26th, land in Germany, stay with German forum member, pick up car and head north.
I think that is enough planning for today
Lots of work to do before Monday when I drop the car off in Boston.
Again thanks to all who have supported this effort and the many new owners of old and new corvettes that I will stay with in Europe.

Ich habe gerade das Segeln Datum bestätigt. 7. August oder 8.. Das Auto wird nach Boston am 30. Juli gehen, ein paar Tage für Zoll und packt es in einen Behälter. Die MS Sea Emma wird in Bremerhaven, Deutschland am 27. ankommen. Ich sollte klar sein, Zoll-und auf der Straße von 29. August.
Aus Deutschland werde ich nach Dänemark fahren, zuerst, dann weiter nach Oslo, Norwegen, Helsinki, Finnland, Stockholm, Schweden, Dänemark, Deutschland, Schweiz, Italien, Frankreich, Niederlande, Belgien und zurück nach Deutschland zur Abfahrt irgendwann am Ende Oktober .
Die Reise sollte sich auf etwa 7 bis 8.000 Meilen. Ich werde in den USA bis zum 26. August, du Land in Deutschland, mit deutschen Forum Mitglied zu bleiben, Auto abholen und in Richtung Norden.
Ich denke, das ist genug für heute geplant
Viel Arbeit bis spätestens Montag tun, wenn ich das Auto weg fallen in Boston.
Wieder Dank allen, die diesen Aufwand und die vielen neuen Eigentümer von alten und neuen Korvetten, die ich mit in Europa bleiben wird unterstützt haben.

Hello to all,
I drop off the car at the shipping dock on Monday , July 30, three of four days for customs inspection and packing in container.
The MS C Emma sails on the 9th and arrives in Bremerhaven, Germany on the 27th of Aug. a few days to clear customs and I hit the road to Scandinavia . I will try to travel over 2,000 miles in about a week.

Ich den Wagen wieder abgeben an der Verladerampe am Montag, 30. Juli drei von vier Tagen für die Zollkontrollen und die Verpackung in den Container.
Die MS C Emma Segel am 9. und kommt in Bremerhaven, Deutschland am 27. August ein paar Tage, um Gewohnheiten zu löschen und ich auf den Weg nach Skandinavien. Ich werde versuchen, über 2.000 Meilen in etwa einer Woche zu reisen.

I drove the car to Boston to be packed in a container for shipment to Europe on the 9th of August. The car will arrive on the 27th in Bremehaven, Germany, I should arrive around the 26th of August.

Am 26. oder 27. August braucht Jack Hilfe in Bremen/Bremerhaven, um seine Vette in Empfang zu nehmen.
Wer kann helfen.
Das Ereignis ist im US Forum sehr breit diskutiert worden und eine große Corvettegemeinschaft wartet dort auf Informationen aus den Erlebnissen mit der internationalen Corvettegemeinschaft.
Es wird darüber auch ein Promotion Video gedreht werden, das dort im Fernsehen laufen wird.
Also Bremer und Umland Corvetteliebhaber, tut euch zusammen und bietet Jack einen fulminanten Empfang in ol' Germany.
Auch bed and breakfast ist dort nötig, aber bitte kein anonymes Boardinghouse, denn Jack sucht den Kontakt zu Corvettefahrern.
Habe leider gerade nicht den Link zu dem orginalen Bericht im US Forum parat. Vielleicht kann es ja jemand einfügen, der dazu Zugang hat.

I am a little nervous , this trip is a more complicated than my 48 state trip.....
Does any one know how long it takes to get a car out of customs if there are no problems ?
This will help me plan the next leg of the trip....I have to get car in Bremerhaven, and drive north through Denmark to get the ferry to Oslo. The ferry needs to be booked in advance, so knowing how many days it will take from Aug 27 boat docking to making ferry in North tip of Denmark. I plan for ferry on 30th...is this possible ?

Ich bin ein wenig nervös, ist diese Reise ein komplizierter als meine 48 Zustand Reise .....
Hat jemand wissen, wie lange es um ein Auto zu bekommen aus dem Zoll, wenn es keine Probleme gibt dauert?
Das wird mir helfen planen die nächste Etappe der Reise .... ich zu Auto in Bremerhaven erhalten haben, und fahren Richtung Norden durch Dänemark mit der Fähre nach Oslo zu bekommen. Die Fähre muss im Voraus gebucht werden, so wissen, wie viele Tage wird es von 27. August Boot Docking-Fähre zu machen in Nord-Spitze von Dänemark statt. Ich plane für die Fähre am 30. ... ist das möglich?
